Two scripture texts come to mind as we venture on a journey to make life worth living; (1) 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV..."Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." This latter expression means to handle the Scriptures correctly, to “hew the line,” or as Alford put it, “to manage rightly to treat truth fully without falsifying. (2) Proverbs 27:17 KJV..." Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Sharing opinions gives a helpful view. Asking questions sharpens the intellect. Friendly intercommunication enhances the personality.
