The Gathering Point Consent to Receive Communications by Email and Text Message Purpose The Gathering Point communicates important information to members, participants, and supporters through email and text message. These communications may include event reminders, meeting notices, prayer requests, ministry updates, emergency notifications, and other messages intended to support the mission and fellowship of The Gathering Point. Consent By providing your email address and/or mobile telephone number to The Gathering Point, you expressly consent to receive communications from us in these forms, including both individual and group messages. You understand and agree that: Types of Messages – Messages may include but are not limited to: Ministry news and announcements Event invitations and reminders Prayer requests and encouragement Volunteer opportunities Emergency or urgent updates Message Frequency – The number of communications may vary depending on ministry needs, but The Gathering Point will make every effort to avoid excessive messaging. No Fees from The Gathering Point – The Gathering Point does not charge for sending text messages. However, you may be responsible for charges assessed by your service provider (standard text messaging and data rates may apply). Confidentiality – The Gathering Point respects your privacy. Contact information will not be sold or shared with outside organizations without your consent. Communications may be sent through third-party platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Workspace, or text messaging services) in compliance with privacy and security standards. Right to Withdraw Consent – You may revoke your consent at any time by: Replying “STOP” to any text message Using the “unsubscribe” link provided in emails Notifying The Gathering Point staff in writing Upon withdrawal, you will no longer receive non-essential electronic communications, though you may still receive legally or administratively required notices if applicable. Eligibility – Participants must provide accurate information when registering or engaging with our services. Conduct – All members and participants are expected to conduct themselves with respect, integrity, and in alignment with the mission of The Gathering Point. Intellectual Property – All materials (digital, printed, or recorded) are owned by The Gathering Point unless otherwise noted and may not be copied, shared, or sold without written permission. Limitation of Liability – Participation is voluntary. The Gathering Point is not liable for personal injury, data loss, or other damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law. Changes to Terms – We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. 2.
